I am a licensed psychologist and Conscious Relationship/Life Coach in private practice in Texas. I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds including children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 1993 and have been a licensed psychologist in Texas since 1994.
Most recently, I completed a two-year Apprentice training program at the Hendricks Institute in Ojai, CA with world-renowned teachers, authors and relationship experts, Drs. Kathlyn and Gay Hendricks. There I learned a whole spectrum of new Conscious Living skills which enhance bodymind vibrance, relationship harmony and bring forth rapid growth and transformation in committed clients who are open to learning. I am passionate about applying these new skills in my own life as well as in my clinical practice with therapy and coaching clients.
I am a genius writer, a talented therapist and coach, a playful speaker and presenter, an engaging, energetic and passionate learner and co-creator, and a loving, magical presence. My loves include assisting others in manifesting their dreams, playing with writing poetry, the sale of wearable art, engaging in a variety of physical activities, movement and exercise, and genius cooking. Overall, my life purpose is to expand love while creating magic and joy with every breath.
In addition to working with clients individually, I work with groups on Conscious Living to provide learning and transformational growth to larger groups of learners outside the therapy session.
My name is Maria Merloni and I am a life coach and therapist. I hold a Master's Degree in Social work from Simmons College and have worked extensively in the mental health field. Like many of you, I grew up in a dysfunctional family and felt unworthy of love. After years of struggling with self-esteem issues, I sought the guidance of a life coach. I immediately began to transform myself and my life in ways I'd never dreamed possible. Already a therapist, I wanted to help others in this way, too. Eventually, I became a life coach myself after graduating from the Hendricks Institute in Ojai, CA.
In addition to the above, I also parent my vibrant pre-teen daughter, sustain a conscious, loving relationship with my amamzing partner, and appear as co-host to the late night hit television comedy, the Dudeular Connection.
